I took my 1 year old Great Dane/American Bulldog to the vet on Monday and the doctor checked his anal glands and said they were fine. He gave him a shot of Azium and Vetalog. So it’s now Wednesday morning and I took him out for a walk and his stool was watery/mucus green colored. I hope it is just the medicine wearing off. My dog eats and drinks just fine and plays with his toys and he doesn’t act sick at all. I also am in the process of switching his food from Authority Puppy Large Breed to Authority Lamb & Rice (The vet recommended it and just so everyone knows Authority is a PetSmart brand of dog food.)

I left my five month female Pomeranian at my cousins’ house who has two other dogs while I went on vacation. I got her back a week ago. Here’s the instructions I left them, and I was very specific:
NO HUMAN FOOD unless it’s fruit and it’s not from the table! I gave them other instructions like meal time and how much dog food she should get and dry or wet at each meal. When I came back, they told me they gave her human food. I was ready to pull my hair out! They gave her PASTA, LAMB, and RICE FROM THE TABLE!!!! I was SO angry with them! I told them over and over NO HUMAN FOOD! I made them REPEAT it! AND NOW? My puppy WHINES even LOUDER than before when we try and eat dinner, expecting that she’ll get something from us. I feel betrayed. They are family. I trusted them and they went behind my back. They’ve done other things that have interfered with my dog’s training and now will take longer. So here are my questions:
1) How can I calm down? Every time my puppy does something wrong that she’s never done before, I blame it on them and start crying. Ridiculous, isn’t it? Well I’m just a BIT protective with MY FIRST DOG EVER. Wouldn’t you be too?
2) How do I get her to stop begging and whining when we eat? Believe it oir not, the penny can won’t work anymore.
PS- I am a responsible seventeen year old girl and my cousin is a bit older than me. Wouldn’t you think they would know better?
