I’ve read in several places that lamb and rice food is best for beagles and other dog breeds with long ears because it helps prevent ear infections.
Anyone know the reasoning behind that? My beagle pup loves his lamb and rice canidae all life stages, so I have no intention of switching, but it’s got me curious!
I started my beagles on P ONE Lamb and rice, but after researching ingredients I switched to Nutro. They have been on it a month now and are starting to vomit, eating grass, shedding excessively, drinking lots of water, and wetting the bed. Any suggestions priced between mid 20′s to mid 30′s for a 40lb bag?
By killed I mean a dog that got sick from eating it and died.
